Using AVS PresetsThis tutorial is here to show you how to use AVS presets that come with the AVS or that you've downloaded. 1. Get 'em in the right place: The first step to using AVS presets that you've downloaded
is to unzip them and get them in the AVS directory. This is usually something like C:\Program Files\Winamp\plugins\avs\ .
(for the latest version of Winamp3, it's ...\Winamp3\wacs\data\avs\) There are presets that come with the
AVS that should already be in this directory. 2. Open the AVS: Once the files are in the AVS directory, they can be viewed with the AVS. Open the AVS with CTRL+SHIFT+K if it's set to default, or open it from the Plugins-Visualizations preferences. 3. Load the Preset: To load an AVS preset, all you need to do is right click on the AVS window to get a
drop down menu. Select the preset you'd like to watch, and it should load into the AVS.
That's it. Now you know how to open up all those cool AVS presets. Now get back to The Basics for more. |
